Come along to hear about our school-led teacher training programmes. The one-year postgraduate programmes – starting in September 2015 and accredited by the Lincolnshire Teaching School Alliance (LTSA) – may be of interest to you, a relative or someone you know.
The LTSA comprises 17 secondary schools across the whole county of Lincolnshire. As an Alliance of schools, we are looking to recruit trainees in the following subjects: Maths, English, Physics, Physics with Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Computing, History, Geography, Modern Languages, RE and PE.
If you are interested in other subjects, please come along to learn more about the process for making an application in September 2016.
Our Alliance will be working in partnership with the University of Lincoln to ensure that any trainee who is selected for one of the places is supported in achieving Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) qualification.
If you are interested in learning more about the programme, or in applying for one of the places within the LTSA, you are invited to attend the first Information Evening on Thursday, 29th January, 2015. It takes place from 6.30pm to 8pm in the Sixth Form Lecture Theatre at The Priory Academy LSST. Details of future events in Grantham and Louth (as listed above) will be sent out nearer the time.
Parking will be available via the main entrance to the Academy on Cross O’ Cliff Hill, Lincoln. Walkway signs will then direct you to the Lecture Theatre. Representatives from the LTSA will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
