Post-16 Pathways

As students are now thinking about their next steps after Year 11 and some of them have already met with the mentoring member of staff at the Academy to discuss their progress and to signpost them to appropriate Post-16 pathways.

Moving forward they will have the opportunity for a 1:1 meeting with the Sixth Form Team and/or a qualified Careers Advisor - Mrs T Taylor.

Research Sixth Form options and attend the Open Evening

Check for entry requirements and the level of qualification you will achieve. Talk to the teachers of the courses I am interested in studying, to ensure these are suitable

Consider your individual skills, likes and dislikes.  Speak to your friends, family and teachers if this helps. You have a good range of skills from the courses you are studying!
