Personal Development including Relationship, Sex & Health Education
‘Building powerful knowledge to grow confident & creative global citizens.’
The Academy works to develop not only the academic excellence of our students, but also their knowledge and understanding of the wider aspects to enable them to become rounded citizens of the world.
Personal Development is delivered through:
- Tutorial time
- Year assemblies
- A Global Citizenship Programme, delivered throughout the year to each year group within subject curriculum and allocated lessons.
- Enrichment activities including educational visits, visiting speakers and after school clubs.
- Specific links to SMSC topics within the broad and balanced curriculum that our students follow.
RELATIONSHIP, SEX & HEALTH EDUCATION
