Careers

Lincoln Academy is committed to developing wisdom, curiosity, generosity, courage and passion as the cornerstones of growing true citizens of the world, to empower young people to create a life of their own choosing. These values are fostered in our Lincoln Attitudes, through which we insist that we all work hard, dream big, be kind to each other and keep going in the face of challenge. The careers guidance programme is strongly linked to these Attitudes and reflects the ethos and culture of our Academy.

The purpose of the Careers Education and Guidance Programme at Lincoln Academy is to help young people to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes they need to make well-informed choices and manage transitions in learning and work. The Academy is committed to providing students with a planned programme of activities that helps students understand the purpose, and benefits, of education and inspires them to achieve. This achievement spans not only their formal qualifications but also their successful progression into the next stage of their lives, and the world of work in the future. The programme is an integral part of the whole academy and incorporates formal careers education, information, advice and guidance activities, as well as other opportunities linked to subject areas.

We hold an annual Careers Fair in July every year - if you are interested in attending this event please contact the academy.
