House System

At Priory Lincoln we have three houses, Alexander, Boole & Swift.

Each represent a value that are integral to academy life.

Every member of the Academy including all staff and students are involved with the House System. At the heart of what we do are three Heads of House who organise events across the academic year to develop students’ sense of belonging, imagination and creativity, and a fascination in learning about themselves, others and the world around them. Similarly, it encourages them to use a range of social skills in different contexts, for example working and socialising with other pupils.

Students collect positive reward points which are added to the house totals. Our Multi Sports Event in July also contributes towards House points. All the points lead to a final presentation at the end of the year when the winning house is announced and individual achievements are celebrated.

There are student leadership opportunities within the House System. Each year groups will have three House Representatives who are key to the organisation of house events.

Some House events you may want to take part in include:
House Chess tournament, House Performance Competition, House Pride Day, Creative Writing Competition, Trash Fashion Competition and House Baking.
