The government announced on Wednesday evening that all schools in England would close at the end of the day on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.

Regretfully the Academy will be closed to Years 9 & 10 with effect from Thursday 19th March until further notice. Please visit the Academy Website regularly for updates.

GUIDANCE
Stay at home if you have either:
• a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
• a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly
If your child has symptoms please keep them at home for 7 days, do not send them into the academy. Any students with symptoms will be sent home.
If any member of your household has symptoms you must all self-isolate for 14 days, this means nobody can go to work or school for 14 days.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you're staying at home.
On the morning of the student absence please notify the Academy on 01522 882800.
Academy will be closed to Years 9 and 10, with effect from Thursday 19th March until further notice
