Alex Scarbro is delighted to receive the Lindum Award for his outstanding commitment to the Career Ready Programme. The Local Advisory Board nominated Alex for the award as he has fully embraced the opportunities offered through the programme. Alex has maintained a positive mentoring relationship with Diane Gallon, Pharmacy Training Manager for Lincolnshire Cooperative and successfully carried out two internships at local pharmacies. The professional advice and work based experience Alex gained through the programme have proved to be invaluable and formed a significant part of his application to study Pharmacy at university in September 2018. Alex graduated from the Career Ready programme earlier this year and was in the final cohort of students on this programme. The Academy continues to work with the local business community and the EBP to offer the Inspirational Adults Mentoring Programme to our Year 12 students.
