10 year 7 students attended the SPARK Engineering Festival at Lincoln Cathedral. They got to work with engineers in lots of different STEM fields.

The girls took part in challenges to build an aeroplane the quickest.  They were the fastest with a time of 12 seconds. The boys were the fastest to build a tower with a pulley.

The students left the day excited about the various career pathways they could potentially pursue.

It was also good to see alumni students working for the companies involved.

A great day for them and as with every trip we run, they were impeccable and a credit to our Academy.
