Local businessman Colin Parkin visited the Academy on Monday 24th April 2017 to present the academy with a cheque on behalf of the Marjorie Lipman Foundation.

The Marjorie Lipman Foundation makes awards to educational institutions and individuals each year to support the aspirations of disadvantaged students. Colin has worked with the academy for a number of years as a business mentor and supporter of the Inspirational Adults programme.
