World Book Day:

On Thursday 5^th March, the Priory City of Lincoln Academy encouraged student participation in a range of activities to celebrate World Book Day. ‘Let me take a Shelfie’ was the name of one of the activities where students in forms had to try and guess which bookshelf belonged to which teacher. The task was found to be difficult and students needed an observant eye in order to achieve high scores in the House competition. The results were close but the winners were Mrs Verdon’s form (Newton) with 16 out of 24 answers correct. Students were also given an opportunity of taking ‘Selfies’ in the library with either a book that they are currently reading or a book that they enjoyed.  A great day was had by all.
