Science Sixth Form Trip to Lincoln University
Monday 21st November a group of Sixth Form Applied Science students visited the University of Lincoln. They spent the morning in the laboratories performing seriel dilutions and producing standard calibration curves. They also had the opportunity to use computers to analyse sequences of DNA bases. In the afternoon students had a tour of the campus including a visit to the Joseph Banks laboratory where they were shown around by a gentleman who is doing research on behalf of Diabetes UK.
